Write in Stars: type anything and watch a galaxy spell it

Write in Stars is a free interactive browser toy by ZirkoMirko. Type a word, phrase or emoji, up to 28 characters, and a galaxy of stars forms it. Choose, drop or paste a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF to turn its pixels into stars. Images are limited to 20 MB, 16 megapixels and 8192 pixels per side.

Move through the galaxy, tap for a shockwave, scroll to zoom, or change its palette and shape with Remix. Save a PNG image or a six-second clip. MP4 export uses WebCodecs when supported; the browser may use WebM as a fallback. Text and images are processed on your device. Copied links include text and remix settings, never the image.
